Elizabeth Kinch Generosity Award
Each year the Derby Community Foundation will recognize an individual for his/her generosity in the Derby area by awarding the Elizabeth Kinch Generosity Award. The award recipient will be honored at the Foundation’s annual gala. The Generosity Award recipient will receive a gift basket provided by the Derby Recreation Commission and the opportunity to award a $500 grant to the charity of his/her choice.

Spirit of Philanthropy Award
The Spirit of Philanthropy Award was created in 2023 to recognize someone who uses the Derby Community Foundation as the vehicle for their philanthropic efforts. One of the primary functions of the Community Foundation is to be a conduit for connecting generous people with the needs of the community.

Community Builder Award
The Community Builder Award was created in 2024 to recognize corporate philanthropy. The award honors a business or organization that has demonstrated exceptional generosity and philanthropic efforts toward the betterment of the Derby area, making a significant difference through their charitable efforts and volunteerism.
