The Derby Community Foundation was established to help our community and its citizens raise a shared standard of excellence in all we do. 

What We Do

For Donors

Through various types of charitable funds held within our organization, we can support the philanthropic goals of individuals, businesses, and nonprofits alike.

Grants

Through our Community Enrichment Grant Program, we support creative & innovative work by area non-profits. Additional grants are awarded from various donor advised, memorial, agency, and field of interest funds, including Kansas Health Foundation Fund grants for public health initiatives.

Scholarships

We support the academic dreams of local high school students through various college and trade school scholarships.

The mission of the Derby Community Foundation is to enrich the quality of life in the Derby area by being a catalyst for connecting people and resources with community needs and initiatives.

Awards

Generosity and philanthropy are celebrated each year with the awarding of the Elizabeth Kinch Generosity Award and the Spirit of Philanthropy Award.
