The Decarsky Foundation, a private foundation established in 2007 by Tomp and Vicki Decarsky, has long been committed to supporting our community, with a primary focus on providing educational scholarships.
The scholarship is open to previous recipients of the Decarsky Foundation Scholarship who continue to meet the performance standards established by the DHS Selection Committee. Recipients must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA while attending a Kansas college or university.
Scholarship recipients may apply to the Selection Committee for annual renewal—up to three additional years if attending a four-year university, or one additional year if attending a community college.
If a recipient completes a community college program and then chooses to continue their education at a four-year university, they may apply for up to two more years of renewal, with an annual scholarship award of $4,000.
